Trisha's Twice Baked Potatoes

Hello,

I'm back with another recipe. This one is a sure hit!  I mean southern food in general is a hit can't tell me no different. LOL

I love watching the cooking shows. My favorite ones are of course Paula Deen's and Trisha Yearwood's show. This recipe I am sharing with you today comes from Trisha's show. I made a few alterations to it just bc I didn't want to buy certain items and I was short on time so I made a quicker version.

Here is what you will need:

  • Potatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sour Cream
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Cheese
Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry potatoes
  2. Put on cookie sheet, drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper to taste
  3. Poke holes in each potato
  4. Stick in oven for 1 hr on 450 degrees
  5. Take out oven  you can let them cool down or just cut them in half right away (like I did)
  6. Scoop out the majority of the potato, leave some in the skin so it keeps it's shape
  7. Put 1 cup of sour cream in the mixture
  8. 2 Tablespoons of butter
  9. Milk ( this is to your preference)
  10. 1 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese
  11. I used my Kitchen aid mixer to mix everything; you can use a hand mixer
  12. Put mixture back into skins
  13. Bake for 30 mins
This was so delicious. I decided to try it bc my Fiance is constantly begging for twice baked potatoes since it's one of his favorite dishes' that his mother makes.
